Open the windows....

All I can say is WOW. Today is so awesome. I have opened all the windows and the breeze is flowing through the house like a rush of the spirit. Touching everything and making it good. This time of year is my favorite. Colors changing... the landscape. I am determined to take a thousand pictures this fall. All the wonderful leaves and trees are so striking.

When I stop, slow down, watch and listen...I experience God in everything. The wind, its sounds and sensations are delicious. Ok I just wanted to share that with you...I am done now. Off to sit and soak it all up.

The summer is over and fall has begun. As the weather changes so do many other things. Our family experiences growing pains and shifts. It is what we decide to do about these shifts that makes the difference. God constantly grants me grace and forgiveness even though I do not deserve it. I am truly blessed with a wonderful family and a wonderful deity that loves me unconditionaly. I hope as fall grows cooler and cooler we will remain steadfast and warm in our circle of love and commitment toward one another.

Hoping that Jordan enjoys her new school and develops honest and loyal friendships. And that Peyton finds her last year at middle school one of the best ever. I pray that Janice finds peace and blessings in this time ahead. That her days may be filled more with laughter and smiles than with pain.

Thank God for our family...

Jordan's 14th birthday at Kobe's Sushi and Hibachi Grill

First post

I have decided to start a blog about our family. Hopefully it will be a way for friends and family to stay updated. I am a picture taker so there will be tones of photos to share as well.
